If you're looking for a hard hitting 1-1/2-inch SDS Max Rotary Hammer but aren't looking for all the vibration, DeWalt has the tool for you. The DW540K has reduced vibration by incorporating soft grip handles, a light weight piston and rubber mounts between the dual wall construction, but still delivers hard blows (4.3 ft./lbs.) to the material drilled. The dual wall housing on the tool provides an efficient way for cool air to be drawn from the top of the tool, around the hammer mechanism and out the bottom so the mechanism runs cool under the toughest applications. Kit includes depth rod, side handle and kit box. One year warranty, one year service agreement and 30 day no-risk trial.
