I bought one of these a couple of years ago. Before that I had the Hitaci DH38YE I also had the Bosch 1 1/2" spline hammer. I have to be honest. The Bosch is a better tool. It just hits harder. It also runs cooler. The Dewalt isn't a bad tool. It's just that there are better hammers on the market. I sold all of them and got an SDS max hammer. It blows spline away. It is quickly replacing spline as the top rotary hammer offering. It is a tighter mechamism and transfers more power to the bit. this means faster drilling speeds and less vibration to your hands.
